SHINING FORTH – HEALING HEROES NETWORK

Healing Heroes Network Service Wounded Warriors

Human beings are selfish. We care about ourselves and only about ourselves. People might have helped us but we really do not have any time to spare a thought for them or help them back. Why? Because we just don’t have the time. This is where I want to introduce a group of extra ordinary individuals to you.

They are called the ‘Healing Heroes Network’. Healing Heroes Network is a Florida based 501(c)(3) 26-3714861 non-profit organization which was established to serve the courageous men and women of the military and their families. They are a network of professionals who have a deep passion and are determined to make a difference in the lives of all those war heroes who have been denied treatment or been put on waiting lists.

Since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, life has been extremely difficult for those people who were injured in war while they were carrying out their line of duty. They stood for their nation, protected the people and some, and even went to the extent of giving up their very lives to buy the nation freedom. So, we have technically, robbed these people of their lives and just carry on with our selfish existence? The least we could do is spare a though for them and help them out a little. That is what the Healing Heroes Network does. They bring some life back to all those veterans of war who gave them their life and freedom back. Most of these war heroes are badly in need of medical care and attention, but are not able to afford it or are still stuck on those waiting lists. It is now or never. It is a matter of life and death for them. We need to take action now. I mean, did they not step in and take action for us when it was required? Let us do the same for them.

According to a report by the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Centre, more than 10% of war veterans are reported to have at least 2 symptoms of PTSD and 27% are reported to have symptoms of depression Through a nationwide network of medical professionals willing to provide services, Healing Heroes Networks assists these brave warriors free of charge, for services not covered, or delayed under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs benefits system. This organization helps the military troops to have a smooth transition from military life to a civilian life. Healing Heroes Network has provided countless number of therapeutic treatments, including Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy, Massage therapy, Acupuncture, Counselling, and much more. They strive to be a breath of fresh air in the lives of injured soldiers who have valiantly served their nation. The Healing Heroes Network is the group of professionals who are actually heroes to these war veterans. They are out there being a ray of light in the lives of these war heroes. Take up your place. Donate today and help to make a difference.

Healing Heroes Network is a Florida based 501(c)(3) 26-3714861 non-profit organization which was established to serve the courageous men and women of the military and their families. Since their institution in 2008, The Healing Heroes Network has been trying its best to be a ray of hope for those who have been injured in war. They are a network of professionals who have a deep passion and are determined to make a difference in the lives of all those war heroes who have been denied treatment or been put on waiting lists. Often, they are denied treatment and are unable to go back to normal, civilian life.

Since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, life has been extremely difficult for those people who were injured in war while they were carrying out their line of duty. They stood for their nation, protected the people and some, and even went to the extent of giving up their very lives to buy the nation freedom. The question of the hour is, how do we repay them for the sacrifice that they made? How can we ever show them our gratitude? The answer is, by simply helping them get back on their feet. When we partner and join with organizations like the Healing Heroes Network, we are giving all those war heroes a second shot at life. The Healing Heroes Network has risen up to fill in that cavity and help those veterans who sacrificed their freedom for our freedom.

The Healing Heroes Network tries to heal the complete hero. They strive to provide treatment to the veterans of war. They not only need physical treatment, they also need emotional support and treatment. This network of professionals aim at helping the former troops beat their war nightmares and demons. These veterans need emotional support, love and care to get back to complete health and that is exactly what the healing heroes’ network is doing.

There are various ways to donate and help these medical professionals do the best that they can. Every act of generosity makes a difference to the lives of all those veterans in need. Every donation that is made goes to help make their lives a little bit better. They accept donations and gifts; whether it is corporate giving or in kind- donations, they need it. It is not easy to keep up a charitable organization of this sort without constant flow of funds. The Healing Heroes Network was granted tax-exempted status by the state. Money isn’t the only way to help out. Used clothes, in-kind donations, volunteer work are all accepted and encouraged. If each of us tries to do our part, we can nurse every single veteran back to health.

BEING A RAY OF HOPE – “THE HEALING HEROES NETWORK”

Battle War – The endless struggle to attain peace

Brave souls take up their place in the army and risk everything just to serve their country. Whenever the need arises, there are always a handful of valiant soldiers who rise up to fill the cavity and protect their nation. But what happens to the heroes who don’t make it till the end of the battle? What happens to the daring who get injured or wounded?

That is where the ‘Healing Heroes Network’ comes into the picture. Healing Heroes Network is a Florida based 501(c)(3) 26-3714861 non profit organization which was established to serve the courageous men and women of the military and their families. Since their institution in 2008, The Healing Heroes Network has been trying its best to be a ray of hope for those who have been injured in war. They are a network of professionals who have a deep passion and are determined to make a difference in the lives of all those war heroes who have been denied treatment or been put on waiting lists. This network is devoted to serving America’s war heroes by providing financial and emotional assistance to the military forces that were injured in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan since 9/11/01.

Injuries do happen. But with the growing technology, they are helping the veterans beat their war nightmares and go back to normal everyday living. Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) are cropping up and occurring at an exponential level. It is more than just physical injuries; they are suffering from many emotional and psychological disorders. According to a report by the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Centre, more than 10% of war veterans are reported to have at least 2 symptoms of PTSD and 27% are reported to have symptoms of depression. Even though the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs is trying their best to provide treatment to the injured military personnel, the scope of their services may be delayed or limited. The Healing Heroes Network has risen up to fill in that cavity and help those veterans who sacrificed their freedom for our freedom.

The Healing Heroes Network has provided countless number of therapeutic treatments, including Hyperbolic Oxygen therapy, Massage therapy, Acupuncture, Counseling, and much more. They strive to be a breath of fresh air in the lives of injured soldiers who have valiantly served their nation. This organization helps the military troops to have a smooth transition from military life to a civilian life. They try their level best to heal the ‘Whole Hero’; whether it is financial assistance for basic needs or treatment for traumatic disorders, these professionals are all in.

They are trying to do their part. They accept donations and gifts; whether it is corporate giving or in kind- donations, they need it. It is not easy to keep up a charitable organization of this sort without constant flow of funds. It would indeed be a noble thing to share resources to ‘Heal America’s Heroes, One Hero at a Time.’

Our Injured American Heroes Need Help Too

Every now and then an organization comes along and proves to the world that humanity is still important to us; one of these organizations is Healing Heroes. Why? Because, at their core, most important to them is helping veterans overcome injuries that were sustained in the line of duty. Healing Heroes does this by offering financial assistance, as, unfortunately, the Department of Veterans’ Affair’s resources are often stretched thin. This shortcoming is exactly what inspired founders Dr. Allan Spiegel and his wife, Stacey Spiegel, to make a positive difference.

The idea was bred from Dr. Spiegel’s real life experiences with veterans who had fought in Iraq or Afghanistan and were suffering from injuries such as Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), though, it became a sight seen awfully regularly for Dr. Spiegel. Fast forward to 2014 and you can see the success that has ascended since the Non-profit organization first was established, six years ago. Healing Heroes has helped many veterans make the difficult transition from soldier to civilian life through their helpful and much needed assistance. Though, as previously mentioned, Healing Heroes is a non-profit organization and therefore must reach out to the community in order to receive adequate funding and support. And, even at the best of times, sometimes it just isn’t enough.

Healing Heroes network has done its best so far by self-funding its endeavors and has also received warm contributions from those who share a similar passion for providing care to those who fight for their country’s freedom. Healing Heroes network currently has three programs on offer; Healing Heroes, Welcome Home, Hero, and Tablets for Heroes. Each program has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of certain groups of individuals, or at least, provide remedy where possible. Also, Healing Heroes network continues to be active within its community by holding fun, sociable events for all whom are interested. By looking through Healing Heroes’ Facebook, blog and website, you are able to see the event photographs and establish a sense of what they’re achieving, which is, fighting back for their heroes’ right to live a good life.

Attending a HH event would be the first step, for those interested, in showing appreciation for the veterans that have been injured during combat. Like any non-profit charity, the strength is in numbers. The more people that are willing to put their hand up and show support the better. Hopefully, for Healing Heroes and the veterans they serve to protect, the future is bright. It would be a shame to see the American tradition of honoring and caring for soldiers fall to the wayside. And, really, the mission is a humble one, as their motto suggests, Healing Heroes; Healing America’s troops, one Hero at a time.
